Don't miss this opportunity to join in the excitement. While we can't cross the bridge this year, you can still participate or watch the Jeeps go through the obstacle course at Kewadin Casino or watch the lighted Jeep parade Saturday night. Tentative Agenda Friday, May 10
Saturday, May 11 (keep your wristband on!) Jeep the Mac participants: Drummond Island Tourism Association (DITA) has planned many family fun events throughout the day. These events can be viewed at their website: Visit Drummond Island!
The Scream N' Rebels is a vintage warbird squadron preserving history and performing ceremonial flyovers honoring the men and women who have fought and fallen for our country, along with those who built these aircraft. Our mission is to keep their story alive. For more than 6 decades after its design in 1937, the North American AT-6 Texans were used throughout the world as advanced trainers and artillery spotters in Korea, Vietnam, and other theaters. The North American Aviation T-6 Texan was a single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the United States Army, Air Forces, United States Navy, Royal Air Force, and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during WWII and the 1950s. One of our squadron aircraft is located at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Museum in Detroit, once used by the celebrated all-Black “Red Tails” aviation unit. Our lead ship is a BT-13 Valiant, similar to a Texan built by Vultee.
Registration will close Friday, May 24th at 12. There will be no onsite registration.
